Fast-track global goals are to
- reduce new infections to fewer than 500,000 annually;
- reduce AIDS-related deaths to fewer than 500,00 annually; and
- eliminate HIV-related stugma and discrimination by 2020.
The decalaration has a strong focus on women, girls and adolescents and calls for tailored combination prevention for these groups.
